Emirati-Spanish Investment Forum Held in Dubai to Strengthen Economic Cooperation
The Emirati-Spanish Investment Forum was held in Dubai with the participation of prominent government officials, business leaders, and international investors, aiming to strengthen economic cooperation and promote investment opportunities between the United Arab Emirates and Spain.
The forum was honored by the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Nada bint Isa Al Mualla, alongside representatives of the UAE Embassy in Spain, Ms. Basema Mubarak, Member of the Bahraini Parliament, Ms. Mai Alghajeri, Chair of the Syrian Canadian Council for Entrepreneurs, and representatives of leading international organizations, including the Canadian Arab Innovators Association.
During the forum, Hispasur Global presented exclusive investment opportunities in Spain, highlighting Málaga as one of Europe’s fastest-growing investment destinations. The presentation emphasized Spain’s strong economic fundamentals, growing international investor demand, and the strategic advantages offered to Gulf investors.
Participants discussed key challenges faced by Gulf investors entering the Spanish market and explored practical solutions to facilitate investment procedures, enhance transparency, and strengthen cross-border collaboration.
Mr. Issa Al Suwaidi, advisor and representative of the UAE Ambassador to Spain, reaffirmed the UAE government’s commitment to supporting Emirati investors abroad and facilitating investment flows between Spain and the UAE. He emphasized the importance of such forums in building trust, removing barriers, and creating sustainable investment partnerships.
Ms. Basma Mubarak presented a practical vision for enhancing investment accessibility in southern Spain, outlining strategic initiatives designed to support Gulf investors and streamline investment processes.
The forum concluded with strong interest from attendees and a shared commitment to expanding cooperation, developing new partnerships, and strengthening economic ties between the UAE, Spain, and international investment communities.
