APT is the Arab Innovation Association’s flagship capacity-building program designed to empower professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders in Canada with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
This program brings together innovation, digital transformation, leadership, artificial intelligence, and investment thinking under one umbrella. It reflects the Association’s mission to support knowledge transfer, economic empowerment, and future-ready leadership within Arab communities.
The program is structured as a multi-track learning journey, allowing participants to choose one path or combine several tracks based on their goals.

Dr.Jamil Ammar, Head of the Academic Training Program
Professor Jamil leverages extensive international experience, having contributed across the UK, the United States, and Canada in both academic and industry environments.
His expertise lies at the critical intersection of law, business, and advanced technology, with a particular focus on commercial law, business law, company law, intellectual property, digital ethics, and software-based devices.
His work consistently explores the transformative impact of advanced technologies, including AI, generative AI, machine learning, 3D printing, and 3D bio-printing on business practices.
With over two decades of cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural experience, Jamil has played a pivotal role in developing forward-thinking strategies and policies that seamlessly integrate emerging technologies into various sectors.

Entry requirements
• Currently managing people or expected to step into a management role within 12 months
• Comfortable reading business material in English or Arabic (delivery can be bilingual)

Exam details
• Online exam (60–75 minutes): scenario-based multiple choice + short case questions
• Passing score: 70%
• Capstone submission: 90-Day Manager Playbook + short presentation (5–7 minutes)
Retake policy
• One retake within 12 months (administration fee may apply), similar to many professional programs.
